My very dry, sensitive skin loves The Inkey List's HA serum a LOT (other brands? Not so much). I love how this feels as a first (hydrator) serum and how easy it is to massage just a blueberry-sized drop into the entire face/neck. It feels heavenly, the way it gets absorbed so fast and so evenly and hydrates like you've found an oasis in the desert. The fact that you need so little for such an effect is magical - but we know it's science! My skin type just isn't used to feeling such deep hydration, but both this and the Ectoin Hydro-Barrier Serum flood me with waves of hydration in the best way possible - and it's not like I didn't search before I found these, yet even much more expensive stuff wasn't 1/10th as effective as this. Anyhow, I just cannot get over the fact that it quenches thirst I knew I had and even thirst I DIDN'T know I had first thing in the morning and evening. In short, it feels feels amazing, gives your skin exactly what it needs and prepares your face (and neck) for the rest of your routine. Highly recommended.

I have extremely fussy skin and I have trouble finding products that I can tolerate long term. This serum is great on my skin right after I cleanse and pat it damp, and before applying moisturizer. It also contains Matrixyl which I only recently realized, and I think it should be mentioned in the name because it's a big deal for anti-aging concerns. It has a slightly tacky texture on its own but it sits nicely under my skin cream. I wear a tinted sunscreen on top and I haven't noticed any pilling.
