Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Scalp Scrub | The INKEY List

• Use Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Scalp Scrub as pre-shampoo treatment (before you wash your hair) on either wet or dry scalp.
• Shake the bottle before use.
• Use the nozzle to apply directly onto scalp and use your fingertips to rub in.
• Apply enough to cover entire scalp.
• Leave on for 10 minutes then wash hair as normal.
• Use 1 - 2 times a weeks

WHAT DOES THIS PRODUCT DO? Glycolic acid helps to remove stubborn product build-up and dead skin cells from the surface of the scalp.

WHAT IS GLYCOLIC ACID? Glycolic acid is a chemical exfoliator that works to remove the bonds that keep dead and dehydrated cells or product build-up attached to the surface of the scalp.

WHO IS THIS BEST FOR? It’s great for any scalp type - Excess of product and natural oil buildup can disrupt the healthy function of the hair follicle. Removing that buildup can encourage normal growth and roots to lift up.

DO I NEED TO WASH MY HAIR BEFORE USE? No, apply this on before you wash your hair (either on wet or dry scalp), leave on for 10 minutes, and then wash off and wash hair afterwards.

CAN I USE THE GLYCOLIC ACID EXFOLIATING SCALP SCRUB ALONGSIDE THE SALICYLIC SCALP SCRUB? Yes, you can! However, we would recommend alternating these two products in the routine to avoid over exfoliation of the scalp.

ONCE MY HAIR IS WASHED, CAN I FOLLOW UP WITH MY USUAL STYLING PRODUCTS? Yes.

DO IN NEED TO USE SPF ON MY HAIR/SCALP AFTER USING THIS? No as this is a wash off product you will not need to use an SPF.

CAN I USE THIS DAILY IF I WASH MY HAIR DAILY? We would recommend sticking to using this product a maximum of 2 times a week seeing as it is an active ingredient.

WHAT IS THE PH LEVEL OF THIS PRODUCT? The product has a PH LEVEL: 4.0-5.0.

DOES THIS PRODUCT CONTAIN ALCOHOL OR HAVE ANY FRAGRANCE? No it doesn’t. 

CAN I USE THIS PRODUCT IF I AM PREGNANT? When using any exfoliating actives we would recommend seeking advice from your doctor prior to using if pregnant or breastfeeding.

IS THIS PRODUCT VEGAN? Yes! This product contains no animal derivatives and is now certified by The Vegan Society.

CAN THIS BE USED ON COLORED HAIR? Yes it can.
