CAN I USE THIS IN A DOUBLE CLEANSE? Yes. Oat Cleansing Balm goes first—it's oil-based and melts away SPF and makeup. Follow with a gel or water-based such as Fulvic Acid Cleanser or Salicylic Acid Cleanser to remove any leftover residue.

DO I NEED A SECOND CLEANSER AFTER THIS? Nope. You can use it solo or follow with another cleanser if you like. Works for both AM and PM.

IS THIS SUITABLE FOR SENSITIVE SKIN? Yes. Colloidal Oatmeal helps calm irritation and reduce redness—ideal for sensitive skin types. Read more about sensitive skin >

IS IT GOOD FOR DRY SKIN? Definitely. This formula is made with dry, delicate skin in mind.

CAN I USE THIS IF I HAVE OILY SKIN? Yes, but it’s designed for dry/sensitive skin. If your skin’s oily and sensitive, you can rotate it with something like our Salicylic Acid Cleanser.

CAN THIS BE USED IF I HAVE ROSACEA OR ECZEMA? It can help, but always patch test first. Apply to your inner arm and wait 24–48 hours to check for a reaction.

CAN I USE IT AS A MASK? Yes. Apply during your second cleanse and leave on for 10 minutes before rinsing. Use 1–2 times a week for an extra hydration boost.

MY BALM IS TOO HARD TO SQUEEZE – WHAT DO I DO? It’s normal. This formula reacts to temperature. If it’s too solid, run the tube under warm water for 30–60 seconds to soften it.

MY BALM IS TOO RUNNY – IS THAT OKAY? Yes. Balms can soften in warmer temps. Shake it well before use. If it’s still too liquid, pop it in the fridge for 15–30 minutes and store it in a cool place.

HOW LONG TO SEE RESULTS? Give it up to six weeks. Skin takes time to renew. Stay consistent, but don’t overdo it—more isn’t better and can lead to sensitivity.

Older skin - over 50
Started using this after a reaction to a foundation that stripped my skin of all moisture - it returned my skin to normal after a few uses as I was starting to worry it would never recover so would recommend as it always leaves my skin feeling clean & soft & clears any blemishes quickly . Just struggle squeezing it out of tube sometimes.

Great Formula - Not so great packaging.
I adore this formula, the oil cleanser is so gentle while the oats provide a very gentle exfoliation. Unlike a lot of oil cleansers, my skin doesn't feel tight or dry after using. If you’re acne-prone, it’s important tot thoroughly wash the balm off with another cleanser.
All this being said, the packaging for this product isn't ideal. Because it's in a tube, the product often seperates, leaving big globs of oil or chunks of oat. If this cleansed was packaged in a jar, for example, where the formula can't separate this would easily be 5/5 review.
