WHAT IS THE BEST AND MOST EFFECTIVE WAY TO USE VITAMIN C SERUM? We recommend to use Vitamin C Serum once per day, during your AM routine to take an advantage of full antioxidant properties. We recommend using a broad spectrum SPF in your AM routine if you are using Vitamin C Serum.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I USE VITAMIN C SERUM? We would advise to use Vitamin C Serum one 2-3 times a week to begin with.
CAN I USE VITAMIN C SERUM AT NIGHT? Yes you can! it is most beneficial during the day due to the antioxidant properties but you can certainly use it in the PM too if you prefer.
CAN I LAYER VITAMIN C SERUM WITH OTHER INGREDIENTS? We do not recommend layering Vitamin C Serum with exfoliating acids (AHA, Glycolic, Lactic Acid, Mandelic Acid or Apple Cider Vinegar), BHAs (Beta Hydroxy Acid or C-50 Blemish Treatment), PHA Toner, Niacinamide, and Retinols. This is because mixing those ingredients can lead to irritation so we recommend to alternate them. We suggest using Vitamin C Serum in the morning and Retinol OR AHAs in the evening. What products should I not layer together? >
WHY CANT I USE VITAMIN C SERUM WITH NIACINAMIDE? Vitamin C Serum contains L-Ascorbic Acid, mixing with Niacinamide could sensitise your skin and be potentially irritating. You can safely layer Niacinamide alongside our 15% Vitamin C + EGF serum because it uses Vitamin C derivative, Ascorbyl Glucoside.
IS THIS SUITABLE FOR SENSITIVE SKIN? This serum has been formulated using Vitamin C in its pure form, L-ascorbic acid, for a low irritation, stable product. If you're new to Vitamin C, or have more sensitive skin, we recommend mixing with other serums, such as Hyaluronic Acid, to build up your skin's tolerance. If you are on the more sensitive side we would recommend trying our 15% Vitamin C instead as that is a gentler formula.
HOW DOES 30% VITAMIN C SERUM DIFFER FROM YOUR 15% VITAMIN C AND EGF? Our 30% Vitamin C is formulated with pure L-Ascorbic Acid in a waterless formula and is recommended for experienced Vitamin C users. Our 15% Vitamin C is much gentler product more suited for beginners and uses a Vitamin C derivative, Ascorbyl Glucoside, with the addition of EGF. Learn more about Vitamin C >
