CAN I USE IT EVERY DAY? Use it as a peel in the PM once per week, to avoid risking over exfoliation. Apply a thin layer to dampened cleansed skin and leave to work for 10 minutes before rinsing off using lukewarm water.
CAN I LEAVE IT ON OVERNIGHT? No, it is a face peel that you wash off after 10 minutes.
IS APPLE CIDER VINEGAR AN AHA? Yes it is. AHAs, encourage cell turnover to reveal a brighter, more even complexion. Use in the PM and protect your skin with SPF during the day
CAN I LAYER IT WITH OTHER INGREDIENTS? We do not recommend layering with exfoliating acids (Alpha Hydroxy Acid, Glycolic Acid, Mandelic Acid or Lactic Acid), BHAs (Beta Hydroxy Acid or C-50 Blemish Treatment), PHA Toner, Vitamin C and Retinols as this may lead to irritation. We suggest using these on alternative evenings and ensuring you start of slowly to ensure you don't sensitise the skin. We would advise to allow at least a day in between applying Apple Cider Vinegar peel and using your regular chemical exfoliant, to allow your skin to recover and avoid over exfoliating. What products should I not layer together? >
I HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN, CAN I STILL USE THIS? We would recommend other exfoliating products that are more suited to sensitive skin (like PHA toner), however if you wish to use Apple Cider Vinegar, we would always advise to patch test first. Leave it for few minutes only and build up as your skin tolerates it. Learn more about patch testing >

CAN APPLE CIDER PEEL CAUSE A PURGE? This is an AHA, which encourages cell turnover to reveal a brighter, more even complexion. As skin cell turnover is being sped up, a purge may be visible to begin with. However, as you are only using this once a week, this would be minimal and will disappear within 4-6 weeks. Why is my skin purging? >
AHAS VS BHAS - WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE? Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) are chemical exfoliators. Water-soluble, they work on the surface of your skin, encouraging cell turnover to reveal a brighter, more even complexion. Use in the PM and protect your skin with SPF during the day. Beta Hydroxy Acids (BHAs) are also chemical exfoliators. They are oil soluble, which means they work deeper in the pores, helping to target blackheads and reduce the bacteria that can lead to breakouts. Use AM or PM and protect your skin with SPF during the day.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO SEE RESULTS? Products can take up to six weeks to show full results, due to the time it takes for your skin cells to turnover and the results of any products to reach the surface. Consistency is key, so apply regularly even if you’re not seeing the effects straight away. It can be very tempting to increase use of some products to try and see quicker results, don't overdo it though. More is not necessarily more, and overuse can cause irritation and sensitivity.
