• An overnight treatment, Blemish Clearing Moisturiser should only be used as part of the PM routine.  
• Due to the high potency of the formula, start by using twice a week, non-consecutively, to allow your skin chance to adapt. Only if you feel your skin can tolerate more frequent use, gradually increase usage to every night, if blemishes persists.
• After cleansing and hydrating with your chosen hydrator, squeeze a pea-sized amount into hands then massage into face and neck.

• Avoid using any other Retinol-based, AHAs, BHAs, PHAs or benzoyl peroxide products at the same time in your PM routine, as this can lead to over exfoliation and sensitised skin. Avoid mixing with Vitamin C products at the same time (Use Vitamin C AM and Blemish Clearing Moisturiser PM).
• Blemish Clearing Moisturiser is a specialized treatment that has been formulated for people who have stubborn and persistent blemishes & breakouts. For those who don’t have any persistent breakouts, but have oily, blemish or breakout prone skin, we suggest Omega Water Cream. 
• If you are currently taking any prescribed medications or treatments for breakouts, please consult with your doctor before using. 

When introducing a new active to the skin, some people may experience pimples or ‘purging’. For more information around purging, please refer to our latest blog post.

Skin irritation and dryness is more likely to occur if you use another topical breakout medication at the same time. If irritation occurs, only use one topical breakout medication at a time. Skin irritation may occur, characterized by redness, burning, itching, peeling or possibly swelling. Irritation may be reduced by using the product less frequently or in a lower concentration. Stop use and ask a doctor if irritation becomes severe.

CAN YOU USE BLEMISH CLEARING MOISTURISER IN THE AM? No, as NovoRetin™ contains 0.2% Retinol which increases skin sensitivity during the day. We always recommend using SPF in your AM routine, after using Blemish Clearing Moisturiser in the PM. 

CAN I USE THIS EVERYDAY? Start using Blemish Clearing Moisturiser twice a week and gradually increase to every night once your skin is used to it, ONLY if tolerated. As your skin builds tolerance, the frequency can be increased to every night but if you increase skin sensivity, reduce to twice a week or as desired.

HOW MUCH SHOULD I USE? Use a small amount, just a pea sized will be enough. Do not excess the recommended dosage.

CAN I USE THIS LONG TERM?Yes, you can use it long term only once your skin is used to it and ONLY if it tolerates it.

CAN YOU USE A RETINOL SERUM AT THE SAME TIME AS THIS MOISTURISER? No - we don't recommend using alongside Retinol Serum as NovoRetin™ contains 0.2% Retinol which improves the efficacy of using Retinol so it is works effectively without needing higher % of Retinol.

WHAT IS ACNE AND WHAT CAN CAUSE ACNE? Acne is a common skin condition where the pores of the skin become blocked/clogged resulting in different symptoms.  Pore blockages produce blackheads, whiteheads and other types of pimples and clogged hair follicles or pores cause acne (hair follicles are small tubes that hold a strand of our hair).  There are several glands that empty into our hair follicles and when too much material is inside the hair follicle, a clog occurs.
