Salicylic Acid Exfoliating Scalp Treatment | The INKEY List

• Use as a pre-shampoo treatment (before you wash your hair) on either wet or dry scalp

• We  recommend  shaking  the  bottle  before  use.

• Use the nozzle to apply directly onto scalp and use your fingertips to rub in. 

• Apply enough to cover entire scalp.

• Leave on for 10 minutes then wash hair as normal. 

• Use 1 - 2 times a week.

To keep your product working at its best, we recommend storing in a dry, cool place (ideally between 15-25 °C) and keep out of direct sunlight. Avoid direct contact with eyes. External use only. Keep out of reach of children.

We always recommend patch testing behind the ear 24 hours before using.

WHAT DOES THIS PRODUCT DO? The Salicylic acid exfoliating scalp treatment will help to remove and balance oil on the scalp and help with itchy or flaky skin.

 HOW DO THE INGREDIENTS HELP WITH OILY, ITCHY OR FLAKY SCALPS? Salicylic Acid works to remove flaky skin through gently exfoliating. It also helps to balance oil levels on the scalp. The two other ingredients in the formulation FLUIDPURE 8G and PANTHENOL help to reduce redness on the scalp and to hydrate the scalp and hair.

WHO IS THIS BEST FOR? It’s great for any scalp type.

DO I NEED TO WASH MY HAIR BEFORE USE? No, apply this on before you wash your hair (either on wet or dry scalp), leave on for 10 minutes, and then wash off and wash hair afterwards.

CAN I USE THE GLYCOLIC ACID EXFOLIATING SCALP SCRUB ALONGSIDE THE SALICYLIC SCALP SCRUB? Yes, you can! However, we would recommend using these two products on separate occassions to avoid over exfoliation of the scalp.

CAN I USE THIS DAILY IF I WASH MY HAIR DAILY? We would recommend sticking to using this product a maximum of 2 times a week seeing as it is an active ingredient.

ONCE MY HAIR IS WASHED, CAN I FOLLOW UP WITH MY USUAL STYLING PRODUCTS? Yes.

DO IN NEED TO USE SPF ON MY HAIR/SCALP AFTER USING THIS? No as this is a wash off product you will not need to use an SPF.

WHAT IS THE PH LEVEL OF THIS PRODUCT? PH Levels: 4.0 – 4.5.

DOES THIS PRODUCT CONTAIN ALCOHOL OR HAVE ANY FRAGRANCE? No it doesn’t.

CAN I USE THIS PRODUCT IF I AM PREGNANT? When using any exfoliating actives we would recommend seeking advice from your doctor prior to using if pregnant or breastfeeding.

IS THIS PRODUCT VEGAN? Yes! This product contains no animal derivatives and is now certified by The Vegan Society.

CAN THIS BE USED ON COLORED HAIR? Yes it can.
